Visiting a church for the first time can come with plenty of questions. At New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, we want you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and prepared before you arrive. Here are answers to five questions many first-time visitors ask.
New Zion is a welcoming church family where people from every background can gather to worship, grow in faith, and experience the love of God. You do not have to look a certain way, come from a particular background, or have everything figured out before visiting us.
We believe we are all God’s children, and there is a place for you here. Expect heartfelt worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, and a congregation that is genuinely happy to welcome you.
Children are always welcome at New Zion and may attend all worship services with their families. At designated times, we also offer a separate Sunday School experience for our youth, giving them an opportunity to learn and grow in an age-appropriate setting.
Although we do not currently offer Children’s Church, we are prayerfully looking ahead. As our church continues to grow, expanding our children’s ministry may become part of our future plans. We are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation to learn about God and feel at home in His house.
When facing the church, parking is available to the right of the building. You may park in any available space in that area.
Come as you are. At New Zion, our focus is not on clothing—it is on welcoming people and worshiping God together.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and is appropriate for a worship environment. Whether you prefer traditional church attire, business casual, or something more relaxed, you are welcome.
